Dr Jewels joined the practice in 2017. Originally from London, she qualified at Guy's, King's and St Thomas's School of Medicine in 2004. She completed her General Practice training in 2009 and has subsequently gained the diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the Diploma of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners. During her General Practice training, Dr Jewels worked in a hospice and she holds the Certificate in Essential Palliative Care and has expertise in caring for patients in the end stages of their lives.
Dr Jewels is committed to educating doctors and future doctors - she is currently a tutor at both Imperial College London and St George's Hospital Medical School and she holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education which enables her to train doctors to become GPs.
Dr Jewels also has a very busy NHS practice in Fulham where she specialises in Women's Health, Family Planning and Diabetes. She has a little girl at home, so is familiar with the pressures of family life and is experienced at seeing children of all ages. She and her husband John - a barrister - love to travel but are equally happy in London walking their beagle!
